Mural for Clipper Yacht Harbor in Sausalito

In 2002 Clipper Yacht Harbor commission Victoria to create a waterfront scene depicting the traditions of the sea being handed down from one generation to the next. This mural graced their sports fishing pier for more than a decade.

Depicted here is the late Harold Sommers teaching his grandson Andy how to work the ropes aboard his wooden tug boat, Alert. In the background is Harold's son, Ross and Sequestor, the Tahiti Ketch that inspired the Sausalito Wooden Boat Tour.

Although the mural was removed, the image serves as cover art for the Sausalito Wooden Boat Tour guide book.

High quality Giclees are also available and suitable for framing.
